Most Sundays, when we’re in the Catrin Finch Centre, we join together from 10:00 a.m. and begin with an opportunity to catch up with each other over tea, coffee and toast. When we meet at the Maesgwyn Community Centre, we usually start at 4:00 p.m.
We then spend some time worshipping together, led by our musicians. We celebrate and express our thanks to God for all that He has done for us. Our worship has a lively and contemporary style and we welcome contributions from anyone during this time. People may pray, read passages from the Bible, use their Spiritual Gifts and join together in spontaneous singing.
Our speaker for the morning will then preach from the Bible with plenty of thought as to how we apply this to our lives today.
Our desire is to seek God’s presence in both our worship and through hearing God’s word preached, and to be continually challenged and changed. Because of this, we usually have a time of response following the message which may include more worship or a time of prayer.
To finish our time together we have tea, coffee and cake. This provides a further opportunity to catch up and build friendships.
